Cabo came to stay with Sandy and Denny on April 1, 2022. Leah also brought his toys, which, she said, he basically ignores. She also brought his food, his meds and a bunch of treats. It was a stressful time for both Leah and Cabo.

Over the next few weeks, Cabo started to relax. A simple routine was established and was consistently followed. At the time, the Bingens had 2 cats. Thankfully, both cats and Cabo ignored each other. After a couple of months, Cabo was comfortable enough to roam around the house and backyard on his own. After six months, he will go on his own to different rooms to take a nap. He now wants to go out, by himself, into the backyard to explore and bark at anything that moves, or might move.

Sandly and Denny’s home has become his home. Their backyard has become his backyard. They have become his mates.
